Am a TN Crump desc. as well, through Nancy Jane Crump mar. to a Browder. Thumbing through "Shiloh" again and only ref. to location is the following: "-The three brigades of our division were strung out two miles apart on the road running west - the first at Crump's Landing on the Tennessee, the second (ours) at Stony Lonesome, and the third at Adamsville, a little over four miles from Crump's." There are several other references to Crump's Landing concerning activities before/after the battle, but no clue as to 'who' owned it. Do any of the other place names tie in with your Crump family?
