Elizabeth, I have been looking at St. Peter's Vestry Book and Registry (1684-1786) today. My records had showed that Cassandra was daughter of Pelham Moore and Sarah, his wife. However, I think now that it was Pelham Moore, Jr. who had wife Sarah. Sr. died 9 Jan 1725/26 and Pelham, Jr. died 13 Aug 1734. Sarah is not mentioned in the Registry until Josiah was born in June 1734, so she had to have been Pelahm, Jr's wife.
On the date of her birth, don't necessarily assume that she was born in 1700. The last digit was not legible so all the entries beginning with 170- could have been anywhere between 1700 and 1709, but are listed near the top of that section. Fred E. Crump, Sr. of SC believes it was closer to 1709 because Joseph was born in 1706 and Cassandra likely after that. If she were born in 1709, then Josias was born when she was about 25, which makes more sense. And having children until about 1741 would only make her about 32 or so. Perfectly logical.
Cassandra, daughter of Richard was baptised 29 Apr 1734, so obviously not wife of Joseph in my opinion.
The only other Cassandra Crump is listed in the index on page 565 as daughter of Robert, but I don't find the entry on that page. However, that page lists births and deaths from 1757 to 1767, so not relevant anyway.
I will continue to show Cassandra as daughter of Pelham and unknown wife based on everything I see. It is interesting to note, however, that Stephen was in charge as Survier of Roads that included Pelham Moore, William Crump, Richard Crump, and in 1700 all of the tithables of the Widdow Crump. That could be where the connection to Richard came in, but I have not studied his dates. However, William Crump who died about 1690? or so in NKC has sons Robert, Stephen and Richard!!
The Registry lists births, deaths, and minutes, but not marriage records. Hope this makes sense to you.
