I need information on Dr. C. C. Crump of McNairy Co., TN.
According to the 1850 census of that county, C. C. Crump is 32, born in TN, a Physician. His wife, Elizabeth, is 25, and living with them are: Martha, age, 5; Marcus, age 2; and Benjamin Wright, age 62, merchant, born in GA. Also in the household were Mary Emily Hix (Hicks), age 20; Richard Slaughter age 21, Law student.
Benjamin Wright was the father of Elizabeth Crump and one of his sons, Dr. John Vines Wright, was supposed to have practiced with Dr. Crump, his nrother-in-law. THis information is from the Revolutionary War pension file of Benjamin Wright's mother, Nancy (Ann) Tarver Wright Dew.
