Thomas, I believe your line goes back to Robert Crump and Martha Powell, as does my husband's. Since it was found some time ago that there were two William Crumps (father of Stephen), I have not been able to get any further back than that. Sgt. Thomas Crump evidently had no son named William, so I can't connect with him. There was an on-going project to see if it could be determined who William's father was, but I have heard no positive result from that.

If you have any info regarding William Crump's parents, I'd love to see it!
