Gail, we think we know this family. Which Crump are you descended from? Please start from the earliest you know showing father to son.

We have information prepared by one James David Crump from Oklahoma in 1915 about the ancestors and descendants of John Crump who married Ruth Burnett in 1805 in Pendleton Disc., SC. James David died in 1916, so the information from him is almost first hand.

His father was William Newton Crump born 1818 Jefferson Co, AL, and died in 1879 in Blount Co., AL. Apparently William was a Methodist Preacher and a Civil War Veteran. William Newton appears to be son of John Crump and Ruth Burnett.

Make sense to you? I have more info. Regards, Ed
