John Crump was born about 1755 in NC. His wife may have been Sophia Pitchlynn. They had a son John Crump, Jr. born in NC. John Crump, Sr. family was in the 1830 census of Montgomery Co., NC. John B. Crump, Jr. married in NC (wife unknown to me) they had a daughter Harriet (born NC).
John Crump, Jr. family moved to Mississippi. Harriet married Sampson Hamilton (1830 Census of Lawrence Co., MS and 1850 Census of Copiah Co., MS)
Harriett Crump married John Wesley Kennedy.
Children of John B, Crump, Jr. and his wife ???? were:
Harriett (married Sampson Hamilton); Hardy Crump; Hannah Crump; Polly (married George Dyess); William (married Judah Lowe) and Salenea (married Harrison Moore)
