Thanks for sharing Lemuel's ancestry.

You raise a most interesting point about Eleanor's age and the age of the youngest child. I wonder why Agnes's family thought Eleanor and Lemuel were her parents?????? I will keep working on this.

I believe that I have found Lemuel Crump in the 1840 Census of Perry County, AL. His page, along with several others, are missing from the ancestry.com census file. I did find him on the genealogy.com database. I am still verifying if he is a match.

How do I get in touch Fred Crump to find out more about this family?
