My gf was born 1893 Cecil Hayes Sargent to a Nettie Sargent. Father was listed as F.M. Sargent on adoption of Cecil by Joe and Addie Moore in 1894 in Dallas, TX (Nettie and Addie were reportedly friends and Nettie was ill).
Nettie was in Houston in 1894. There was a FM Sargent living in Ellis Co (close to Fort Worth and Dallas TX in 1900) who is a possible match. These names seem very close to your post and could possibly be relatives. Any leads here? I'd love to identify this missing line of our family and cousins.
