In Volume 2 of KINFOLKS by William Curry Harllee, p. 1188 and following are numerous references to Sargent Thomas Crampe/Crump/Crompe and on p. 1190 he is called Lieutenant Thomas Crumpe. This article continuing on through p 1222 gives a good account of Thomas Crump/Elizabeth Buck and their descendants.
Will be happy to discuss and share info on Crump.
