Houston and others interested. In looking at the abstracts of the Census info from 1840 through 1880 I do not find any Crumps in Yalobusha County for any of those dates. Tallahatchie is just to the west, and this is a possibility, but will need more informtion to give any better answer. There were also Crumps in Pontotoc just to the east in 1860.
