And I thank you, Ed, for your note. Having grown up in New Kent Co., Va., the home of many Crumps for many, many generations, I have an interest in the surname. Also, being connected to many of the same people in that area that are kin to the Crumps, was an added interest. They include Barham, Chandler, and Liggan, the latter being my grandmother, often spelled Ligon.
I will continue the hunt!
