The John Crump in the 1850 Census is John Bushrod Crump, Jr. He was born in NC abt 1774 and was married to Lucy Smith. His father was obviously a "Sr" and was the son of Adam Crump and Hannah Bushrod Heale. In addition to Harriet his other children were Edwin, Mary, William, and Selena. Adam's parents are currently unknown, but likely one of two William Crumps in the VA/MD area. Adam also had a son James and a daughter Hannah. Let me know what you need, I may even have it .
