I have found a John Crump in the 1850 Copiah County, Ms. census listed in the household of Sampson Hamilton and his wife, Harriet. At this time John Crump was 76 years old. I would like to know if you can identify this John for me. I would like to know more about the book on the Crump family found in Shreveport,La. Thank you.
