John Bushrod Crump and his brother James Crump both came to Montgomery Co. NC bet 1774 and 1777. John came first, and both were sons of Adam Crump of VA. James was b in Loudon Co, VA and had seven children, one son and 6 dau. The son was John Bushrod Crump, II. Girls were Kate m James Neal, Hannah m James Neal, Eva m Dudley Forrest, Mahetabel m Daniel Harris, Susan m Nathaniel Lill and Sarah m Henry Gaines.

John Bushrod Crump was b in Lancaster Co. VA in 1748 and had seven children: James m Betsy Easley, John Jr. m Lucy Smith, Mack m Rebecca Monree, Roland m.Sarah Campbell, Stephen m 1 Nancy Easley 2 Eliza Ann Kendall 3 Deliah Parham, Hannah m ? Buchamson, and Nancy m William Harris.

So with James having a son John II, and John having sons John Jr and James, it can get very confusing, and took us several years to get it all straight.
