Since my last post on this line I have visited Haynesville, Claiborne, Louisiana, and visited with some of the Crumps there. Of special note was a visit with the 97 year old widow of Ollie O. Crump. she had a book of his line beginning with Edmond Crump born in TN. WFT Vol 10, Tree 0690 carries this line back to Sgt Thomas Crump. Edmond moved to Claiborne parish in the 1830's I believe, and many of his descendants are still there. I have written the author of the book who lives in Shreveport LA for more info.
