Researching Crump military pilots and aircrew, looking for info or to contact relatives/descendants of Alan F Crump.
Alan a graduate of West Point was a fighter pilot with the 503rd Sq 339th Fighter Group and was killed in a mid air collision during a training flight on the 6th of Nov 1944
whilst serving in England with the 8th Air Force. Alan was born Aug 13 1922 in Koblenz Germany to Ira Adam Crump also a graduate of west point and a major in the U.S. Army ordanance dept, his mother was Suzanne Yvonne Crump (French). Family last known in Ann Arbor Washtenaw Michigan in 1940 where Ira Crump was on the faculty of Michigan University, previously it is beleived they were in Lake Geneva Lacone

Would also be interested in any leads on other Crump military pilot's or aircrew of any nationality.
