Capt. Robert Cade and Sussannah Crump Cade

At the moment I cannot tell you who gave me the following information, but the way I have it is:
In 1651 the first Robert Cade b C1630 got 300 acres of land on Cow Creek which flows into Ware River, which is in York Co., VA.

His son Robert b C1665 got land in Johnson Co., NC in 1749 and married 17 Sep 1713 in St Peters Parish to Susannah Crump. There is a question on this given name and when she died. Susannah had the following children: Agness, 1714, Stephen, 1715, Elizabeth, 1717, Susannah, 1718 and John, 1720. I have seen three or four other children. Robert was a captain in Johnson Co Troop F, Horse 1754/55 and furnished supplies in the Rev. War. I believe he was the Robert who was a sheriff of Johnson Co.

I have not seen this book but have been told much of this info came from, "Kenfolks," a genealogy and biography record of Johnson Co., NC, by William Curry Harllee in 1935. See page 1193 of Vol. II.

Do you have anything showing this otherwise and can you help me with this Crump family?
Best regards, Bob Hemphill, Orangeburg, SC
