I sent you the 1880 Hart County index and you will note the two Williams lived in different
towns so I thinks the Willaim who married Mary belongs to one of the cousins or uncles of
William B, who married Isabella, I do not have a doucment but surely your grandfather's oral
statement should be proof. Also somehow tax records always survived, chuckle.....
you might have to either go and get the land tax records and follow the property on both
Williams, and Cemetery records as to where all the players were buried, snd see which
families were with them Good Luck! You ought to try to use Charles Crump too for DAR,
sinc he is said to have been General George Washingtons Scout in the French and Indian
War and he is mentioned in Washington's Diary.
