Catherine (Catsy) Young was born 24 AUG 1797 in Greene Co., TN, and died 11 JUL 1876 in Greene Co., TN. She was buried in Bailey Cemetery.

7 Sep 1788: John Young to John Chrisman, both of Washington Co., 46 acres in Rich Valley, 50 pounds on the headwaters of the North Fork of the Holsten River. Acknowledged in Court on 9 Sep 1788 by John Young and Eve his wife [Washington Co., Va, deed book 1, pg 95]. From a letter handwritten by Thomas Atkins Crumley of Snyder, TX dated August 13, 1936, Thomas states that James Oscar Young was still living on the old homestead of Dr. Young on Lick Creek, Greene Co, TN.
