Linda: I do not know answers to your many questions except where you asking about the Crumley parents of William A. (Alexander) who married Elizabeth Weems on 2-12-1873. William Alexander was born about 1849 to William Crumley IV and Rebecca Malone of Greene Co., Tn.. William A. came from a family of six children as: Mary Jane, Daniel Patton, John, Jotham, William Alexander, and Nancy Elizabeth. The Descendancy Order of William Alexander is: (1) James Cromley (Crumley) who came from Yorkshire, England; (2) William Sr (b 1735 in Chester Co., Pa - 2nd child of James): (3) William Jr. (b abt 1765, Frederick Co., Va) came to Greene Co., Tn about 1800.) (4) William III (b about 1785 in Berkeley Co, Va. as oldest child of William Jr. That area of Frederick Co became Berkeley co in 1770) (5) William IV )b abt 1811 in Greene Co as the oldest son of William III); (5) now William Alexander.
