Henry Babb Crumly (Crumley) was born as the oldest child of William and Rebecca Babb Crumly on 11-3-1825 in Greene Co., Ohio. He was born into a family of six children: Henry Babb, Matilda, Azel, Hannah, Aaron II, and Lucinda. He migrated to Clinton Co., Ohio with his parents. He married Mary Hannah Doan on 9-2-1847 in Clinton Co. She was born 10-4-1825 to parents unknown at this time. They had six children: Arthur R. (b 1849); William Arthur (b 1851); Rosetta Althea (b 1855); Mary (b 1860); Jesse Edward (b 1864); and Charles Henry (b 1867). Henry Bass died 7-8-1903. Mary died in 1909.
