I am in a state of confusion at this point.
The Crume I am looking for lived in Rochester,Haskell County in 1914, is known to be called Mack.

This W. M. Crume, MD is found in the 1920 census in Rochester, Haskell County, Tx census, as born in 1870 in Missouri with an unreadable wife..(looks like Sinie) b 1878 in Alabama.
There is a son Mark with them... b 1896 who says his mother was born in Texas, so this "Sinie" cannot be his mother.....

William M. Crume, MD born 1864 in Mo... shows up in 1910 living ALONE as "Widowed" practicing "Country medicine"

For some reason I have not found him in 1900 or 1930 under any spelling I can think of.

I did look in your Brown County, in 1900, but found only one Crume...George Crume b Missouri... of course, Ancestry's index leaves a lot to be desired and they don't tell you they don't have all the counties listed. They lie a lot by omission.

I may suck my thumb any minute...
