I am a direct descendant of Philip Daniel Crume and have proven my DAR
membership on his line. I would like to know what you have on him and his
parents. Will you cite your source of information. I'll be willing to
share whatever I have.

I have only one Philip W. Crume in my data base, parents unknown, married
to Christiana (Christian/Christiann) Forman who died July 3 1844 of died of
Cholera in Texas nr Red River. She was the daughter of William Forman.
She & Philip W. Crume were married July 13, 1833 in Nelson County,
Kentucky. I have one child documented: Philip "Little Phil" Crume, TX
Ranger, Civil War born Sep. 27, 1840. Sources of information: Philip
Daniel Crume folder in the DAR Library, D.C.; Kentucky Vital Statistics,
Record of Marriages in Bardstown, Nelson Co., KY, 1780-1851, p 35 (book in
DAR Library); Nelson County, KY Marriage Bonds, Consents & Minister
Returns, p 35 - consent given by William Forman in person, father of
Christiana, Marriage Bond only, Marriage date not shown (unless it could
have been on the same day?) Could this have been his 2nd marriage?
