About 20 years ago, I was researching the Crum, McGlone, Akers, Hornbuckle's and other names on my Crum side. My X-husband burned all of my research (certificates and all) even the questionairs I had given to my grandparents when they were alive, and I lost it all.
I need information on this line: Crum/Akers from Inez and West Va. to Southern Ohio (near Bethel, Feesburg, Amelia...) I know some of the names, Susan Akers/Henry Akers and a Workman female?, Edward Crum (must have died in the early 1960's or 50's) and they had a double funeral for them. This couple died just a few days apart and were my great grandparents.
My grandmother was Vernie Crum (married Fred McGlone), her sisters were Virgie, Gladys, Ella (married a Parrish), Goldie (she is still alive in Ohio and was the oldest of these children), and that's all I can recall. I would love to have this information again, and I recall Martha Horn as well.
Please inform me if you can.
