Can't find my Crums!! A Wilhoit of Howardville,TN says they came together from Vickersboch, Segan,Germany abt 1720 to Spotsyvania, VA to Greenville,TN.

Wm. Akin Crum, b 1846, Gr.Co.TN m Mary Jane Marshall, both d Howardville,TN.
John Crum, m "Betsy" Wilhoit, b 1815 TN
John or Jacob Crum, b @ 1798 Greene Co. TN m Elizabeth Cutshall, b 1792, PA
John Crum, b 1775, (?) VA m Mary Marg. George (Gerg), b 1775, PA
John Crum, b @ 1750, VA m (??)

Names of those that married in from 1750 back appear to be German: Gottschalk, Jost, Holgen, Geerg, Cleasly, Crum.

Much of all this is rumor &/or 2nd hand, I need some verification. Knoxville & area has almost nil on the Crums.
