terri (cuz), i'm not really into the crum genealogy (as yet). i have intended to try and get started. i have some material that my sister had that i've been going through. time allowing, i plan to do some more checking into the family genealogy. hiram is my great(not sure how many greats)grandfather. yes, his first wife was (what i have shows) eliza hughes who he married on march 17, 1859 at tippath(?) mississippi, and who died giving birth to hiram jr. on march 5, 1858. lots of folk called hiram jr "reverend crum". what information i have shows eliza was 1/2 indian and her mother was full blood. her father jessie hughes came to mississippi from tennessee and blazed what is known in history as the Hughes Trail. He went to the Indian Territory when the indians were resettled. the names of their children were leonard, talar(?), elias, sally, joseph, peter, john, melissa, and carroll(male). his second wife was mary e. timmons who he married march 17, 1859 at tippah(?) county, mississippi. she died november 4, 1896. from what i can decipher here, their children were pete, rev, bud, joe, and jess.

let me know of any of this you have different knowledge on and hope to hear from you soon.
