Looking for William Orr Sr. born 1776? and wife Agatha (possibly Spurlock) from Scotland. He is my ggggg grandfather. His son was Charles Curtis Orr, b. April 19, 1796 in Virginia and Elizabeth Barnhart, b. Feb 15, 1807 in West Virginia. They married March 31, 1829. Charles Curtis Orr died April 16, 1863 in California, Missouri - Moniteau County. Elizabeth died in 1892 in Sidney, Iowa - Fremont County.
Curtis' son - William Orr, b. Jan 17, 1830, is my great-great-great grandfather. He first married Penelope Crum who died September 1, 1853, then he married Penelope's first cousin - Mary Ann Crum b. Sept. 1832. Wm. & Mary Ann had 10 children. James Wesley Orr, b. Nov. 1861 in California, Missouri is my great-great grandfather. His son, Elmer Orr, is my great grandfather.
I am going to Europe in June and hoping to research information while in Scotland. Do not know where in Scotland William Orr is from. Any help will be appreciated.
