That is my grandfather. Thank you, Carole. I'll love you forever if you can get through the brick wall we have in this Crum line.

Paul was the son of Taylor Crum, Taylor was the son of McDonough Crum and McDonough was the son of William Crum. William is our brick wall. We know nothing about from where he came or who his parents were.

We keep looking and searching - Crum, Crom, Krum, Krom.

There was a small family story that William came to Rhode Island, but I have no idea if there is any truth in that. He was born 30 Aug 1773 in Middleton, Orange, New York, died on 3 Oct 1832 in Spencer, Tioga, New York; Buried In Baptist Corners Cemetery at age 59. The date of death is from his gravestone and the date of birth is calculated from the gravestone, as well.

Any help from any one out there would be wonderful!
