Henry Crum was born in 1854 in NY and was with his family in Adams Co., Ill. But how did he happen to marry in Carroll Co., Missouri on 27 Jan 1878 to Harriet Frances Young? They are in the 1880 census of Adams Co., Il (Houston township). The first child was born in Oct 1879 in Missouri, but all the other children were born in Illinois. I descend from this Young family of Carroll Co., Missouri, but cannot figure out the connection. Harriet Frances Young's parents were Mormons, so could it have had something to do with the Mormons?
