Hi Bev

I've never heard of Speck changing there name to Crum before but I did hear something about Crumb/Crum originating from Germany or Scotland. I'm presently stuck at Cornelius Crumb b.1731 and don't know his parents. If I find anything more on Speck aka Crum I'll let you know. Did you want a copy of the article I have on George Crum inventing the potato chip?
