I am a descendant of David Crum, Jr. who was born in Orangeburg District, SC in or about 1775; he married Mary Edward in 1793, and removed to Glynn County, Georgia shortly after. I know little of David's parents....they were David Crum, Sr. and wife, Ann (have been told her maiden name was Barry, but cannot confirm this.) David Crum, Sr. was born in 1753, and was a soldier in the Revolution; he died in 1798. His parents were Henry Crum and Magdalena Zorn. Henry Crum was granted 500 acres of land in what was later to become Glynn County, GA in 1768, but apparently preferred to make his home in Carolina.
I would greatly appreciate any info you may have on the descendants of your James Harmon Crum, and will share what I have on the descendants of David Crum, Jr. if you are interested. Please feel free to email me
