Ed, Very interesting information. Thanks
The book "A Crum Family in America" says
"Christian and Henry are said to have been chaplains in one of two German Regiments formed at Winchester, Va., and to have been with Gen. Washington at Yorktown." But, offers no proof. My gr. grandfather Samuel Henry Crum was b. 8-13-1818 near Charles Town in what today is Jefferson County W. Va.
Family tradition has it that his father was a Methodist Minister. The twin Henry possibly was his father or grandfather. Do you have any more info on the twin Henry that might make that connection? Bob
