Hi Barry, While searching for my gg-grandfather, Thomas Riley Crum, in the l850 census I ran across two other Crum families in Tippah County, Mississippi. On page 508 was the Hiram Crum family. Hiram Crum (3l) of Ky, Elijah (32) Unk, Leonard (l8) of Tn, Talia A (l6) of Tn, Elias (l3) of Msp, Sally (l2) of Msp, Joseph (8) of Msp, Peter (6) of Msp, John
(4) of Msp, and Melissa (l mo) of Msp. On page 522 was the Elias Crum family. Elias Crum (40) of Ky, Frances (37) of Ala, Peter (l4) of Tn, Melissa (l2) of Msp, Ann (9) of Msp, Nancy (7) of Msp, Eliza (5) of Msp, and Hiram (3 mo) of Msp.
Also in the same area was a sixty year old Ann Crum of NC living with the Kennedy family. Hope this helps you.
