Greetings,
I am also descended from David Crum, Jr., through his daughter Alafaria Harriett Crum. Do you have any info on David's wife Mary Edwards? I don't.

My records show his father as David Crum, R.S., born 1753 and died 1798 in S.C. David Jr.'s mother was Ann (last name not known). David Crum, R.S. was the son of Henry Crum, born about 1721, and Magdalena Zorn.

David Crum, Jr. was Justice of the Peace in Capt. Pritchard's District of Glynn Co., 11-21-1801. In 1806, he became a member of Camden Co., when county lines were changed. Crum homeplace was near the Satilla River, had a large plantation. Were Methodists. Was a Circuit Steward. Founders of Wayne Co. Camp-Meeting at Waynesville, Wayne Co., now Brantley Co. about 1840.

Hope this helps some. I have little on this line, unfortunately.
Later,
Jimbo
