Mathias Crum & Other Crum Migrations

Over the weekend I spoke with Winston Crum, 100 James Blvd W-307, Signal Mountain, TN 37377. He is doing a revision of a Crum genealogy that his father wrote many years ago (descendants of Mathias Crum). He is a very knowledgable person to communicate with, and I am sure would like to hear from any cousins. I do not believe that he is on-line.

Also, an interesting theory came out of our conversation...Winston feels that there are three main branches of Crums, 1) started very early (1700's)in NY>OH>PA>IN, 2) Immigrated into Philadelphia>western PA>OH valley>Southern IN>KY>southern IL, 3)SC and throughout the south. If you are having trouble tracking down your line of Crums, you might try one of these migration patterns.
