Lucinda was from the Crum, WV area. There is speculation about her parents, but proof cannot be found. Some say she was the daughter of Frederick and Naomi Crum. During the 1880 Ohio, Meigs Twp. census, she was living with William (age 80) and Nancy (age 78) Crum. The land was located in Meigs Twp. An 1880 Atlas map of Adams Co. will show the exact location. An F. Crum owned a neighboring parcel. The Adams County courthouse did not lose any land records during the 1910 fire.
