John T. McConnell, b.abt. Sept.,1869, in Syracuse, NY, and Mary Cruise, b.ca. 1874-1882, daughter of Alexander and Margaret Cruise of NJ, married about 1899. One son, George F., was born in NJ about 1900. Among their remaining children, all born in NY (most in NYC), were two daughters: Grace, b. abt. 1904, and Virginia a/k/a "Jean", b. abt. 1911. The 1930 census shows Virginia/Jean as a bookkeeper and Grace as a theater dancer. Both daughters, it appears, became estranged from the family. I would appreciate any information about these women. Whom did they marry? Did they have children and, if so, are any still living? When and where did they die? Thanks. Jim
