Terri: I have only recently begun this trek through the "Cruce" territory, but I have found one trace of Richard's mother and father -- Isaac Cruce I and Mary Caldwell Cruce. Of interest to me was the name on your list of Francis Marion Cruce. I do not know much about my father's family -- Carl Hampton Cruce b. 1912 abt. bootheel of MO, d. 1989 AR, or his father, Thomas Hampton Cruce (died I believe in MO around 1924), but I remember seeing and hearing the name Francis Marion as being who I believe would be my gggrandfather. My father's family moved to CA sometime after 1924. My father lost track of one of his siblings, Charles, so I'm not only interested in the ancestry, but in the descendents also. My mother, Ethel Marie Coln Cruce(80) is digging for me as well. I appreciate any help you can give.
