I am not sure if my line is the same you are researching, but many of the names are the same. My Letitia Cruce married David Brown in Spartanburg Co., South Carolina, I think in 1770. I do not have my records infront of me so the dates are from memory. They had eight or nine children. Many of them named their sons Isaac Newton. One, Isaac Newton Brown from Texas had his biography published at the University of Texas. David & Letitia moved with many of their sons to Tipton Co., Tennessee where David died in 1823. David was said to have been born in Ireland, came to America abt 1764, fought for the Rev War.
I believe his father's name is William. Does this sound familiar to anyone? One other thing, David was discharged to Pennsylvania so I always thought he might have met Letitia there because I have never found a marriage record for them in South Carolina.
