Deborah:
I notice in this posting, you mensioned
a Cruce Man marring a Chotaw woman.
Lee Cruce who was the 2cd Gov of Okla.
married an Indian Woman of the Chickasaw-
Chotaw Nation. Named either LOrena or
Serena "Chickie" Laflore, this woman had
a twin sister named Chakie.
I noticed in the 1870 cesus, there is a
James Cruce listed in the Louisana, can
you pick this census up and find out
if this James Cruce is still living with
his folks, could give you a lead into who
his parents are and also his brothers and
sisters if he had any. Don Cruce Hodge
