CROZIER DNA PROJECT - First results coming in
The Crozier Y-DNA Project is now up and running with Familytreedna at http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Crozierhttp://www.familytreedna.com/public/Crozier
The project has three main aims: discover the origins of the surname, identify the geographical location of the various branches of the family and help individuals overcome their genealogical brickwalls by linking up with their genetic cousins. The project is open to males who carry the Crozier/Crosier surname (and variant spellings). If you are female you will require to find a brother, father or uncle to supply a sample.
This month is a particularly good time to join as there is a discount sale available until the 30th of September. The Project recommends taking the 37 marker test as this narrows matches and gives a better calculation to the most recent common ancestor. It is possible to join the Project from this link
https://www.familytreedna.com/surname_join.aspx?code=X67891&special=True&projecttype=S
The results from our first two participants both from Fermanagh have begun to arrive back from the lab and already we can tell they are from different unrelated families.
Please feel free to email me for further information.
Every good wish
