Idont now how far back my Croziers go My settled in IL. they came into IL through Evansville IND. where some of the Croziers settled and some near Terra Haute Ind. also.I dont know thier names either but as a child I used to here that my gramma whose name ;Nora Ellen Crozier talked about going over to visit fam. Her father was George Minnick Crozier his father was;John A Crozier,
John was born;???? Piqua Ohio,Miami co. married to ?
1.George Minnick b;???1842 also Piqua Ohio,married 4 times his1st wife is my grt gramma;Melissa Frances Allisonb;mar.14,1849 Crawford co.IL.died1887
2. John A jr.born;feb.1849 Piqua Ohio died;jan.3,1922 Robinson twp.Crawford co.IL.married Mary Ford
3.Ellis B. born;feb.3.1851 Robinson twp.,Crawford co.IL. died; july 14,1931 Honey Creek twp.,Crawford co.IL.marriedto Ella May Seany born 1869

Do you have any of these Croziers in your fam.
I dont know when they came from Ireland.
Did you ever see or read a book written by Edmund Burk? it is called"Crozier,Burk Gentry Landing" It starts with a John Crozier working for King James John ived in Scotland and went to Ireland to work for King James and it tells his lineage and how a female kin married a ?Fox and settled in Evansville,Ind. I met her kin she lives in Moultrie co.IL.Her husband is the minister of a church thier last name is Zeban.They were my cousin`s minister and did his funeral that is how I met her and I told her of the Fox fam. in Evansville,Ind. and she contacted that fam. so she did her
with the series of books that Edmund and Ashworth P. Burke Landed Ggentry,etc.did it tells that because The Croziers were so devoted to him and fam. he gave him land there in Ireand.They worked on and for these properties;

son;Wm.of Enniskillen
Baptist Barton(Rev.);Rockview,co.Cavan
The Gorta property given to the fam Mullinsgoan estate to the Swaze fam Enniskillen parrishhas the fam info.Rev.John chancellor of Clogher rector of Galloon
It all goes upto comming to America.I found the book under the Daughter of the Rev.War.section of the library.The library ih Pa. sent me a copy of the lineage of the .
Croziers publisheders; Heraldic Publishing company,Inc.N.Y.N.Ny 1965 Titled Family Records by
Ashworth P. Burke editor of "The Landed Gentry",etc.
then years later a Edmund Burke(Burk) also too over the too.soyou can probably find that book too.The Croziers and the Bures(Burks) intermarried and worked with eachother.. This I hope also helps others looking for thier Crozier fam.I am still trying to find about John A Crozier Sr. of my fam. Good luck.
