Heather,
I forgot another bit of information, although I don't know how reliable it is.
Thomas (Kreul) Croyle (b. 1708) had a second marriage. He was married to Judith Creyelin (b. 1724, Bedford Co., PA; d. 31 Jan 1814) in abt 1759 in Cumberland Co., PA.Judith, as well as Thomas, is buried at Clyde Dibert's Farm.
Judith's marriage to Thomas was also her second marriage.Previously, she had been married to John Stoneking.
Judith Creyelin is reported to be a child of Queen Allaquippa, a very colorful leader of either the Delaware or Seneca Indians in Western Pennsylvania. Her claim to fame is that she had at least one meeting with George Washington when he traveled through the Pittsburgh area. There is mention of her in the diaries of George Washington.
That's it for now.
