I too am trying to untangle what has become a very confusing mix of Croyles, Diberts, and Millers in the Bedford County, PA, area. I am ultimately trying to trace a line of the Croyle family (which became Crile) that goes into Ohio. My great-great-grandmother is Catherine Crile, who married Anthony Hager in the Summit or Wayne County regions of Ohio, but I am having a really hard time untangling her lineage.
But here is what I have that MAY help you out in your search:
In my information, I have a Mary Dibert, born 1794 in Bedford Cty, married to a Henry Croyle (b.1790.) Mary's parents are Molly (or Mary) Ernst (b.1764) and John Dibert (b.1746.) I believe that Molly was John's second wife, the first being Eve Ickes. John and Molly were married in 1785. John's parents are Charles Christopher Dibert (b.1718 in Cumberland Cty, PA) and Eve Ney (b.1720 in Virginia.) Molly's are Adam Ernst and Eve Imler. If you plug Charles Christopher Dibert's name into the Mormon Family Search site, you can go further back still.
I have a John Croyle (b.1788) married to a Catherine Dibert (b.1792.) Catherine Dibert's parents are John Dibert and Molly Ernst again. John Croyle's parents are (I think) John Adam Kreuel and Margaret Dibert Miller (who was John Adam's second wife. I don't know his first wife's name, but Margaret's first husband was John Miller.) Margaret Dibert Miller (John Croyle's mother) and John Dibert (Catherine Dibert's father) are siblings, which makes for a close blood relationship between the married couple, but I THINK I am accurate with John Croyle's parentage. Again, if you play with these names at the Family Search site, you can expand on this information and perhaps prove me right or wrong.
I found a Frederick Dibert (b.1796), another son of Charles Christopher Dibert and Eve Ney, who married a Susan Croyle in 1820, but I'm not sure which Croyle family she fits into. And I know the dates don't match up for you.
I'm a little confused about where the Barbara Croyle you mentioned fits in. There are Barbara Croyles in the mix, but I can't find any born in 1810. There is a Barbara Croyle who MARRIED a John Dibert in 1810, but she was born in the 1790's, as was he. And his mother was not Susannah; he was another child of John Dibert and Molly Ernst.
Hope this helps a little.
