Looking into family members of George William Crowther Wilkinson. Apparently born George William Crowther in 1844, when enlisting in army used George William Wilkinson instead, possibly because his family didn't agree with him enlisting and didn't want the name involved, then kept it and added to the end of his name. Extensive family which begins in Birmingham area, moves to Bangor in Wales and also stems into New South Wales in Australia. Anyone have any info?
