I have the marriage certificate that lists William Crowther, Weaver, as the father of John, age 23, of Bridge End Langfield.
John Fielden, twister, is the father of Betty, age 20, of knowlwood Todmorden and Walsden.
Both are deceased as of April 1852, which is the actual date for John and Betty Crowthers' wedding. Witnesses were James Haworth and John Ingham. Any connections?
