I am seeking to find anyone who may have any information on an Emma Crowther .She was born in 1847 in Halifax,Yorkshire,England. Her father was Thomas Crowther..
When she married Hudson Swaine on 1899 she was 52 years old. Hudson was 54 at the time of the marriage. She was living at 52 Mildred Street in Bradford. He was living at 48 Ripen St. Bradford..Both fathers were publicans..
Interesting that George M. Crowther was the Registrar and Thos.Crowther was the superintendant Registrar..They were married at the Register office..
I do not believe that Hudson had been married before and at their age am sure there were no children..
Does anyone have the name of the mother of Emma?
