Peg - If Timothy F was born in 1831 then presumedly that family would have came to Victoria County later, perhaps during the mid forties about the time of the famine?
That is my understanding of when that Crowley settlement in that area originated. Peterboro/Otonabee is about 25 miles south east of there, a considerable distance in 1845 and home to several Crowley family pioneers from 1825 and later. There are still Crowleys from Victoria Countyliving today, some now in the Peterboro area.
Also the Peterboro clan (my group) were reportedly from the County Cork area. However I shall peruse local archives to try to locate your family about those years. Do you have any old photos and/or birth/marriage/death records?
Much appreciate and continue to hope for a tie to the early groupDick C
