Crowley: San Francisco/Timothy & Ellen Crowley
My Great, Great Grandfather came through Canada to San Francisco in about 1842. Timothy Crowley was the son of Timothy (I think)who was born in County Cork. Timothy was married in SF and had 4 or 5 children. His first wife died in child birth and he remarried to Ellen Theresa. They moved to Ferndale, Ca. and had 6 children, including my grandfather Charles Crowley. They owned farms in Ferndale, Santa Rosa and ultimately a farm in Lake City, Callifornia where Timothy, Ellen, Clement (died in WW1) and other children lived and died. My father Clement Crowley was born in Ferndale. Ca. His mother was Mary Crowley (O;Flarety).
I can not find a link back to Cork or find what happened to Timothy's first family and children who I presume grew up in San Francisco. Other family names are Daniel Sullivan, or Crowley or Coakley. My grandfather Clement lived in SF during world war 1 working in shipyards in Oakland in for some relatives and then returned to Ferndale when his brother died in the war. Clement worked for the Pacifica Lumber in Scotia. Does anyone know how to connect these links.
