Looking for information on JACOB CROUL. He shows up on a land purchase in Stark Co, OH dated 09/01/1823. Since this is the only name that remotely matches my family name in Stark Co, would like to know more.

F.Y.I. My family goes back to a SAMUEL CORL (born 1800), but illiteracy may have played a part in the name being repeatedly changed.
